Tell Out My Soul: 2025-2026 Annual Pledge Campaign

Our Annual Pledge Campaign is a chance to reflect on the many ways we are connected to each other. Our theme this year, Tell Out My Soul, focuses on the stories we tell and the ways we are called to share our words, our actions, our love, and our joy with the world. In a time when headlines shift daily, and uncertainty touches our homes, schools, and workplaces, the relationships we’ve built here at Trinity are a source of strength, comfort, and inspiration.

You’re asked to prayerfully consider making a new or increased proportional pledge. Use this website and the pledge packet that was mailed to you or the materials in the Narthex to help you explore what proportional giving might look like. We also invite you to consider how your time and talents can help Trinity grow into its mission of truth and action.

Please plan to return your pledge cards on Sunday, October 12, 2025 (or the box outside the church in the weeks before) so we can bless them and offer them to God during our Celebration and Dedication evening service at 5:00 pm.

What is proportional giving?

As members of the Episcopal Church, we are called to live out our faith through grace-filled stewardship—responding to God’s abundant love with generosity that sustains our common life.

This season, we invite you to embrace proportional giving as a spiritual practice. Rather than focusing on a fixed amount, proportional giving means offering a percentage of your income—reflecting both your gratitude and your capacity. It’s a way to give intentionally, faithfully, and equitably.

This approach echoes the spirit of the tithe and honors our baptismal covenant to “seek and serve Christ in all persons.” Whether your gift is 5%, 10%, or another amount, it becomes part of a shared offering that supports our worship, outreach and pastoral care, and the sacred work we do together.

We ask you to prayerfully consider what proportion of your resources you feel called to give. Every gift—large or small—is a sign of your commitment to the life and mission of this parish.

How are my time and talents a gift to the church and the community?

In the Episcopal tradition, stewardship is more than financial support—it is a sacred response to God’s abundant grace. As we begin this season of giving, we invite you to consider how you might offer your time, talents, and treasure to support the life and ministries of our parish.

But stewardship is not only about money. It’s also about the gifts of presence, service, and skill. Whether you sing in the choir, serve on a ministry team, teach Sunday school, or offer your professional expertise, your contribution helps our church flourish.

Together, let us build a church that reflects God’s love in action—through generous hearts, willing hands, and faithful lives.

How does this work?

We’ve prepared some resources to help with your decision-making

Pledge card: This is the big one. Fill out the information and enter your pledge amount. You can select to make your contribution all at once or at separate times of the year. There are multiple options to make your pledge. Click here to navigate to the Trinity’s Giving page.

You’re almost done – after you flip the card over! On the back of the card tell us about the ways you or your family would like to pledge to serve as a volunteer, server or ambassador in or outside our community. If you have an interest that we may not have a ministry for, tell us about it and it could be the start of something new!

Don’t forget to bring it with you for the Dedication and Celebration Service on Sunday, October 12 (or drop off the pledge card in the Tell Out My Soul box in the Narthex.) Because we use the electronic payment page on our website for more than the pledge campaign,  we still need your pledge card if you set up an electronic payment.

Proportional Giving chart: See the chart below that’s part of the pledge packet. It is a handy resource to visualize what giving looks like from 1% to 10% and beyond. Committing to a pledge campaign can feel a little intimidating if you’ve never done it before and the cart helps make the math less intimidating.

Telling Out Our Soul: As part of the pledge campaign, we have members Telling Out Their Souls during services , one our social media accounts and in the Friday Chimes. These stories are helpful to reflect on as you consider your pledge as they show the connection we have with our community both inside and outside the church.
