Now hiring: part-Time Administrative Assistant

Duties of the Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant organizes, oversees, and administers Trinity’s office in all its functions; supports the clergy, staff, and lay leaders and members in their ministries. The person who holds this position must provide a welcoming presence for all who call or visit Trinity. This person serves as the Rector’s Administrative Assistant, prepares weekly printed and electronic worship materials and electronic newsletters, maintains bulletin boards and membership register and does other administrative duties. 

Qualifications for the Administrative Assistant position

Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and to exercise discretion; excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects in a timely manner with minimal supervision; proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher); ability to use web based organizational and social networking tools; ability to communicate in person and in writing with all types of people in a warm, tactful, and professional manner; ability to work collegially with both professional staff and volunteers in a team environment; database experience helpful, not required.

The Administrative Assistant position is part-time. Work hours are 24 per week on weekdays scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. with some flexibility available. Occasional work on Sunday mornings may be requested but not required. Free parking.
